For the past few months, continuous rap news has been heard. It is a matter of shame for a civilized society that we as humans are unable to understand what we consider to be a goddess. Some people think of it as just a piece of meat that was used to satisfy their lust and then either killed or threw it to die.
What kind of India are we building for the coming generation?
I too have a daughter like a doll who has not even started going to school. She does not even know how many demons are roaming outside. Do I have enough courage to send my daughter to school, college or job? Do you have this courage?
The government enacted such stringent laws, but are they enough? Should the law be more stringent? Should such people be punished openly without trial? I think yes but if openly punished then what will happen to human rights?
There are many questions whose answers are very important for our governments and for those who are sitting on the highest positions of the judiciary. And it is necessary for every person and family to develop good values in their children, especially boys. We keep telling our daughters that you have to go to your in-laws, so stay well, do this, don’t do this, but why don’t we tell our sons that you should respect women. Not everyone is guilty but there are some.
When a boy teases a girl, we turn away and think that this is the fashion nowadays, but why do you get angry when this happens with your daughter? We must resist. Till we do not bring change between us, no matter how stringent the laws are, there will be no benefit. I also wanted to share the rape statistics but the figures are very intimidating, so I did not share. This issue is very worrying and for this reason, I was distressed for a long time, so today I wrote this article.
